Remarks | i suspect the fireball was visible for much longer, but i only caught site of it as i'd looked up at the moon and caught it out of the corner of my eye. when i looked at it, it was already very bright and large in the sky. Maybe half the size of the half moon or just a bit smaller. I followed it from about 80 degrees until it disappeared behind a nearby building. the tail broke off in pieces and it appeared to be heading somewhere quite nearby, though, obviously, it's hard to say. |

Remarks | there was a main short train that broke off in pieces about a 5th of the size of the fireball and seemed to sparkle a little bit. it was dark, so i couldn't see smoke. the train was the same color as the fire ball, only slightly less bright. |
