Remarks | It was a bright blue. Nothing I'd ever seen before. I'm a 20 year railroad worker and always keep my eyes up. I've seen many many meteor showers and countless fireballs. This was special. I initially told people it had to be space junk because of the color. Bright blue, like a propane gas flame. I saw the report on CNN after returning home this morning from work. The timing it gave the sighting in Chicago didn't seem to match up with mine. However, the video seemed very relevant with my viewing. I'm not sure if it is the same meteor, but I wanted to report the sighting. Thank you. |
