Remarks I've witnessed a meteor of similar color, green, that left a long trail, increased in brightness, and changed to orange as broke into pieces. THIS was larger, about the size of a hot air balloon a few miles in the distance, or maybe the size of a dime held at arms length. It traveled fast from about 45 degrees up in the sky at my 10 o'clock to disappearing below the horizon at my 12 o'clock in about 2-3 seconds. It was of constant color, shape, size, speed and trajectory: light green, oval stretched along the horizontal axis, absolutely no tail, no sound, no flash. Seemed close due to its apparent size, but must have been farther than it seemed, which would mean it was huge. I first noticed it to my 10 o'clock, in my line of sight with a large passenger plane* on approach to ABIA. On first impression it seemed to be the same distance, or even originating from the plane, only because they were in the same place in the sky when I first noticed it. But, it had to be much, much further away or there would have been an immediate signs of an impact. Is was in the passenger seat of a car driven by my colleague from work who also clearly saw the object, though she described it as cigar shaped, while i saw it as oval, not egg shaped, but symmetrical with respect to both the horizontal and vertical axis, and about twice ass long as it was tall. Like an almond held at arms length with leading and trailing ends like the rounded end of an almond instead of one pointy end. But the ratio of height to width about like an almond.
