Definitely a meteor, might've looked green due to the time of day. One of the biggest I've seen, I wouldn't be surprised if it landed.

Split up about a second after I had looked at it, into multiple green pieces that quickly grew dark. Didn't flash much, but was steadily glowing light green the whole time.
