| Remarks | My third fireball. The first two were confirmed, one in the mid-1980's that came down in North Carolina (the biggest and most spectacular of the three). The second about a year ago, came down south of Atlanta (Georgia). All three were sighted from Middle Tennessee. The first two both exploded at the end, but this one just fizzled out. I feel extremely lucky to have seen so many, but maybe it is because I spend a lot of time looking. |

| Remarks | The trail extended from where I first saw it to the point where it disappeared. I am not certain if it was physically there, or was just burnt into my vision because it was so bright in a very dark sky.... The initial ball was the size of a stoplight from a block away, but it seemed to rapidly melt into the trail until it disappeared. |
