I saw the fireball from the front window of my car as I was driving. The fireball was more than just a shooting star as it lasted nearly 13 - 14 seconds and exploded very close to where it appears airplanes would fly. In fact, after it exploded and disappeared I looked and saw airplanes (far from where it exploded but seemingly on a similar horizontal plane.
