Reports Report 149a (Event 149-2017)

Observer
Name Colleen B
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks Never have I seen something this large and glowing orange/yellow/red. I honestly believed it to be a plane on fire because of this. Have seen rather large falling stars before, never something like this however.

Persistent train
Observation Yes
Duration 1s
Length
Remarks It was a short glowing train, almost same size as the ball itself, still orange and some yellow. Was not smokey.
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks I saw one big ball and two pieces break off the back and they seemed to flare before burning out. Both were almost same size as the front/main ball itself. Looked like a plane exploding to me because of that.
