Delayed Sound | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | as stated heard a sort of pop but would be more likely from entry or some sort of sonic boom perhaps, and not from final flash. |
Persistent train | |
---|---|
Observation | No |
Duration | -1s |
Length | -1° |
Remarks | Had a train that faded quickly behind it before becoming unstable and bursting/ exploding in a seemingly almost round pattern that was very shortly visible, less than a second. I probably only witnessed 3 seconds or less of the event. It wasn't exactly straight up but close as it moved quite a distance from east to west. Fairly bright but you could tell it's size was only dwarfed by it's altitude. The train faded quickly behind as if the glowing matter was slowed and cooled after falling or burning away from the main body. |
Terminal flash | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | Very high altitude, as mentioned fragments seemed to slow and extinguish quickly. The final fragmenting flash was only 2 to 3 times wider than that of the initial train and faded just as quickly. It was very bright but didn\'t provide any visible illumination on the ground in the least. I thaught I may have heard a pop but it was almost simultaneous with it\'s disintegration, which tells me the pop sound was not from it exploding as the sound would have taken much more time to reach me. |
