Remarks | I have 2 other witnesses to this; one in Wrightsboro NC and another in Surf City, NC I was the only one who actually saw it full on in my location; my daughter thought she saw it out of the corner of her eye. At first I thought it was a plane on fire, crashing. It was very large. If the top of a 40 ft. pine tree is the size of your fist, the fireball was the size of the end of my thumb in scale. I was inside at the time, and only saw what was visible through a very large picture window, and did not hear any sound, nor did I think to listen for a sound afterward. I was expecting a huge boom, as I really thought it was a jet on fire. We live about 15 minutes from an airport. |
