I was surprised that the streak (trail) was slightly elevated as it moved from the left toward the right. Meteors I have seen in the past usually streak downward or look very high in the upper atmosphere. This one seemed low. The sky was hazy and I could see only a few of the brightest stars. The streak was exceptionally bright. There was no observable bulbose front like a bolide, just a straight streak of white light.
