Reports Report 4359do (Event 4359-2016)

Remarks This is the first firball I've seen. I thought it looked like a firwork display at first, but it was headed downward and it would have had to have been launched from the middle of the woods to be fireworks. It had a white tail and I thought that there was a reddish ball in front of the tail. The tail was relatively short compared to other distant shooting stars I've seen and it seemed to move slower. I thought that there was a flash at the end that was part of the reason I thought it was fireworks or a flare. My thoughts that it was a shooting star or fireball were validated by news reports.
