This is the second I've seen in the last eeek and a half. Will try to report the other too...though my location might be hard to pinpoint on a soccer field. I have seen meteor showers and shooting stars...I am a geologist with some experience looking at the sky. I have never seen meteors this bright or this "closely" before.

It was biggest at the end of the flash through the sky. A trail and then a bright white circle. Magnificent!
