Meteor travelling west to east off the southern California coast. It was visible for about 5.5 seconds. I was driving south on the 605 fwy, sitting in the I-10 west interchange facing south. I have been running my Go-Pro HERO2 dash mounted camera for several years in anticipation of eventually capturing a fireball event. My wait finally paid off in spectacular fashion!
