I was driving home and saw a woman getting frantic while I was at a stop sign. She was pointing out to her man "Look, there is something falling from the sky, OMG, fire, fire!" I asked her what she was seeing and she claimed she didn't know. I thought maybe she was halucinating because she was jumping up and down so much and her man couldn't see it. He finally saw, I took my turn and then turned up Walnut St. where I began looking out my car window to see if I could see what she was talking about. All of a sudden I saw this bright ball of fire falling from the sky and of course many things went through my mind. I pulled over by the basketball court where kids were playing. It wasn't a clear night by any means so it was probably much brighter than what it appeared to me. The ceiling was low but seeing this was simply amazing! It was just to the right of my final destination. It fell for a bit and then simply disappeared. I wondered if it was a plane going down but hoping that it was a meteor. Never seen anything like it before! |
