Remarks | I did not see the initial flash directly, but my entire yard lit up as if from lightning. I immediately looked up facing NW and it looked as if it had started almost directly above me, maybe a bit to the south (my left) and there was a trail of 'sparks' showing its path as it continued in a roughly westerly direction before breaking up and burning out. I have never seen a trail stay visible for so long. I remember seeing a short gap in the trail. |
