As it was in the close vicinity of Manchester airport (I see planes regularly taking off and landing in the exact area I saw the fireball) I would think that this would have been separately reported. the time of the fireball is only very approximate, but definitly between 9:30 and 10:30 at night

it stayed whole for the most part, but some smaller fragments looked as if they burnt off at the very start of when it appeared. After then it was just 1 ball of light that dimmed as it got closer to the ground.
