Remarks | I am an amateur astronomer and own an 8" reflector, but usually observe planets not meteor showers. This looked very much like a flare as far as the brightness, but was moving straight with no visible arc, directly to the ground. I have seen flares before and am certain it was not that or a drone (I fly drones from time to time and it was not that). This was near the Atlanta airport, but was not a plane, but could have been seen from some of the flights going by. I go this way every day and have never seen anything like this before. |
