I was on 95 South in Portsmouth at 8:30PM headed to Massachusetts when I saw what I thought was a fast falling plane (alongside Pease Int. Airport) or that my eyes were playing tricks on me having seen fireworks earlier that night. There was a great arc in the fall of the meteor with a magnificent ice blue color. When the meteor reached its final destination it was as if a light bulb had died, a bright flash and then it was gone. It looked very close to the ground and for the next ten miles or so I was thinking I would see debris on the highway. It was incredible to see and to hear similar accounts!
