I think it may have come down in the ocean off St.Amands or Lido Key. It was definitely north of the Ritz Carlton in Sarasota, which is right on the bay.

It looked like something flaming on its' way to the ground. I honestly thought it was a plane on fire crashing or something because it was so clearly a fiery streak trailing across the sky.
