Remarks I've watched many meteor showers such as the Leonids and Perseids. This was not a "shooting star" in my opinion. Shooting starts tend to fade in temperature and color i.e. White/Blue-White/Orange/Red and then disappear. This was Brilliant Green and got brighter as it came down. I lost sight of it as it went behind trees on my property nearly exact due west of my vantage point. It was an awesome sight! Worthy of reporting.
