Remarks | It was just long enough to say to my girlfriend "Oh my God what the hell is that? Look!" By the time she looked it was out of site over the ocean. I wish I was on the beach because it had to fall into the ocean. I have seen shooting stars moving across the sky a couple of times but this was big and falling out of the sky rather than moving across it. I even thought it could have been a private plane going down. I checked the news and googled shooting stars over Pompano Beach but couldn't find anything. If you look out in the direction I indicated, there are two apartment buildings between me and the beach, it went down over the ocean in the distance right between the buildings. |
