Remarks my husband was in Whitakers, NC and when I called to tell him about what I saw (I thought a plane had crashed) he said that he could see the trail and he heard 2 loud booms at the time. Would love to know if this meteor actually made impact.

Remarks the smoke trail was zigzag and spiraled, it stayed in the sky for a long time and began to stretch out like a jet plane trail but it was in a zigzag formation
