Reports Report 3216hb (Event 3216-2016)

Observer
Name Tonya K
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks It had a real long fire trail that lasted until a second or two before it was out of sight. Just before the trail disappeared I thought I could see some orange and yellow like in a fire. I've seen comets before but never one that was as big as this seemed or lasted as long as this did. It truly was an awesome sight and amazing that I happened to look in that direction at that moment. My first thought was it was an airplane on fire and was going to crash. Then I realized it was probably a comet because of the long trail and it's slow path across the sky compared to a meteor shooting across the sky.
