Reports Report 3048c (Event 3048-2016)

Observer
Name Joshua B
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks I think the color of the fireball changed from near white to yellow/orange as the fireball got closer to the horizons - not surprising given the scattering/extinction because of how low on the horizon it was.

Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks Towards the end of the fireball trail the object fragmented, appearing to leave a slower piece or two behind the main body of the object (i.e. after the fragmentation there was one fast moving object and one or two slower moving objects behind the fast moving one). Shortly after this fragmentation the object disappeared (i.e. the fireball went out before going below the tree line).
