Reports Report 2600e (Event 2600-2016)

Observer
Name Bailey R
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks We were watching a lightning storm happening over in idaho from the church next to our house. After a few big flashes of lightening this bright large ball of light appeared out of now where closer than the storm. Maybe a mile away or so. What was weird was it apperead out of nowhere and was absolutlety ruler straight. Other meteors ive seen have been angled or more orange in color and last just a second or 2. We followed that white streak for about 3/4s before it disapeared into the church roof. We expected it to appear just on the other side of the roof because it was only behind for a second. But it never reappeared. It had no sound appearing or disappearing. At that time there was no thunder within hearing distance only a visual of the lightening. Would like to know if it was a fireball, meteor or a UFO.
