Remarks | No doubt this was a meteor. the only question i have is -- did it completely burn up or land somewhere southwest of me...even as far as florida or gulf of mexico. we live on top of a mountain...extremely clear last night. could see Mars, Saturn, Jupiter. was using night sky app. on iPad. |

Remarks | at first i thought it was a firework, but instantly i realized that it was high above the mountain range (approximately 6,000 feet). the explosion seemed very similar to the "go with throttle up" Challenger explosion in 1986. |
