I was driving to work and don't know if there was any sound associated with this event. I looked really close. very bright even considering there is a casino in the general direction I was looking. It didn't light up the sky like daylight but I think it would have be close if there wasn't some much light pollution in the area (casino parking lot is very well lit).

i could see the ball breaking up and burn out. tail was long and all was multi colored.
