Reports Report 1979h (Event 1979-2016)

Observer
Name Delisa F
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks Initially, I thought that it was a shooting star, and became incredibly excited because it appeared so huge, heavy, close and a vibrant green; it was not the usual steamline shooting star, I haven't seen one of those in decades. Then it occured to me that it was a meteor. It terminated yellow/gold then nothing. My heart was pounding. I logged onto Facebook and Twitter to see if anyone else had seen it. My friend's back was to it. I had just taken her picture. A super bright pinkish star was overhead to my right. A brighter white star was behind me over the Friday's restaurant. I was in the parking lot at Fairlane mall facing the entrance to The Big Fish restaurant. There is a flagpole that sorta intersected the arc. It was a phenomenal experience. I frightened my friend, a former cop, when I exclaimed, "OMG! OMG!". She missed it because instead of simply turning her head, she dropped into deployment mode and reached for her weapon. It was so huge, I made 3 wishes instead of one.
