Remarks | Amazingly bright and low elevation. Such a long duration. Probably the most spectacular thing I've seen in a while. I joked at the time that it must have landed in a field almost within walking distance. If you held your arm outstretched and made a size between index and thumb, it was about an inch tall throughout most of the event. It covered almost 180* In the sky from where we were camping. Just awesome. |
