Remarks After reading of estimated beach ball size of this object it would be nice if we published an estimated strew width for such events. And why can't Doppler track these trajectories? Thanks.

Concurrent Sound
Observation Yes
Remarks Acoustic (shockwave) evidence only here. Was awakened by 3 quick successive thumps on roof at one end of house. Dog simultaneously freaked and barked. Wife confirmed noise was from same distinct location on roof from other end of house. Walked around house with flashlight. No apparent animal or vegetable evidence within 30 foot radius of house. Dismissed noise as seismic activity, returned to sleep. Learned of fireball reports online at 5:00am when checking for quake reports. Cursory daylight search on 5/17 found no mineral or other evidence. On 5/18 found no obvious marks on asphalt shingle roof. - [Curses! Foiled again. Rafter-creaking only. But wd hv swapped 3 1 inch holes - one for each of the three creaks, for a new steel roof, fershure.]
Delayed Sound
Observation Yes
Remarks See above. Just 3 successive thumps from vaulted ceiling area at one end of house. Just one end. That is the vexxing part.
