Reports Report 1497m (Event 1497-2016)

Observer
Name Carolyn S
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks It was absolutely amazing! We were driving on I-95 going southbound and it appeared out of nowhere-at first we thought it was a shooting star-it appeared at first it was traveling in a manner more consistent with a shooting star-like in a more horizontal path-then we realized it was dropping straight down from the sky-was getting larger as it dropped-much much larger than a shooting star-and lasted longer than anytime I've ever seen a shooting star. My husband swears he saw green in it-I remember seeing bright white surrounded by red and orange
