My father worked on the Hubble telescope for 20 years of his life, so I've grown up with familiarity with astronomy although I'm not an active star gazer.

Remarks
It broke into two pieces in the last second of its appearance. ~1/3 went at a slightly higher angle and ended sooner than the rest. Both ended close together in position in the sky. It appeared to fizzle out like a child's sparkler rather than explode.
