Remarks | I enjoy watching the sky, have observed many 'shooting stars' comets, etc but never in all my life have I experienced this. I was letting the dog out on this frigid night when the whole deck lit up as though it were daylight - just for a couple of seconds, it may have lit again with the second flash but then I was watching the sky instead. Absolutely brilliant, beautiful and amazing. This was not a common event. |

Remarks | I saw a flash of light that lit up the porch as though it were daylight, looked nearly straight up thinking it was odd to have lightening then, to find a glowing light yellow/ white/blue train led by a large fireball, which seemed to flash bright again a second time, continuing to leave a thick bright trail- and then the fireball went gray/black but the trail lingered for a couple seconds, then also went gray to black and was gone. |
