My 12 year old son and I were driving home at the time. We didn't hear any sounds (whether there were any or not) as we were enclosed in a car. But we both went Whoa what was that at the same time. Truly a cool thing to see! I remember looking at the mile marker right after seeing it and know the approximate time as my dad called my cell phone almost immediately after we saw it.
