Remarks | I am a big fan of meteor showers (maybe more like a 3.5, above) and see meteors every year. I consider the Pereids an annual event. I have seen many GREAT ones, and one or two that bordered on fireball status. This one WAS a fireball. It was awesome. My wife was with me (we were walking the dog), and it lasted long enough for me to call her attention to it. She got almost as good a look as I did. |
