Light cloud (about 50%) cover. Clouds went green. 3 distinct flashes as bits seemed to explode then green fireball comes out of cloud fast then exploded in full view. White flash.
Quite a show. lasted about 6/8 seconds from when I first saw the clouds flashing and shining green.
I was facing west by North west.I first spotted it over may shoulder. It was also heading in a NW direction.
It appear from behind me. Only looked round because it lit the whole sky up green. Arnside is on a hill next to sea. We where at the end of the pier.
