Remarks | I was standing in the side yard, a little after ten pm and I saw the biggest, brightest meteor I've ever seen. I was facing due south and it traversed the sky from approx. WNW to ESE. Unfortunately the is a large tree in the front yard and it disappeared behind it so I didn't get a chance to see it's conclusion. I'd be amazed if there are not other reports from people in Rye or Hampton that saw the same thing, perhaps from a better vantage point. |
