Could possibly be a firework. I've never seen anything like it and it was bright. I didn't gear it. Which is why if it was a firework it would be of substantial size (needing a special permit size) due to the distance needed for me to not hear it climb altitude. The ball was moving at a downward angle that was very close to being parallel with the horizon. Instead of up and down like a firework. If it was object pulled in from earth's orbit it would come in at a less extreme angle. The speed of the ball I feel would be too fast for gunpowder to achieve.
Another thing to note is I do live close to active military testing site. They could possibly be flares but at the speed in which this ball came flying in would suggest the aircraft was at full speed and deployed flares near or over civilian airspace that in my 10 years of living here I have never seen.
