Remarks | I have seen many shooting stars and the like, but this one literally made me yell out "OMG!"... This was different. I only noticed it because it was lighting up everything around me. I have never seen one as bright, vivid, and detailed as this one, and it lasted for what seemed like forever. I am interested to know how many other people saw it... |

Remarks | Bright green, smokey, glittery, with glowing green / white fragments, very bright |
Terminal flash | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | Was initially very bright (lit everything up outside), and continued to get brighter to the point where everything outside was flashing with illumination. Went from green to blue to white over the course of a full 5 seconds and you could see the fragmentation - the tail was bright green, the "rock(s)" were bright blue with white around them. |
Fragmentation | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | The fragmentation itself was very vivid due to the coloring described above, and the immense amount of illumination it produced. I could clearly see the bright blue/white rocks breaking off of the main rock all surrounded by the bright green tail, until it got really bright and then appeared to burn up and leave the trail described above. |
