Remarks I was surprised by how low on the horizon this had occurred. It was the brightest and largest meteor (if it was that) that I had ever seen. It looked like a fast moving large comet.

Remarks Bright trail similar to a comets, only brief. Broken trail to the right of fireball as it burned. Fireball was heading to the left. Did not see fireball end as it went behind ridge line during its descent.
