Remarks | I have seen multiple objects, from typical shooting stars, to minor fireballs, from constant observation. I track iridium flares and spot satellites for fun. I am familiar with planetary locations, and other bright objects as I used to observe, along with deep sky objects... I have a bit of experience sky watching... I have seen similar colored fireballs, but never quite at this magnitude... Was bright enough to illuminate the eastern sky like lightning. Was actually big enough to give me a bit of a fright, and to expect a delayed air burst. I'm hoping to hear that someone did hear or see this. Based on my estimates this would likely have happened close to Cleveland, perhaps a bit further, but I'm terrible at measuring this stuff. |

Terminal flash | |

Observation | Yes |
Remarks | Red streak expanded to a green flash orb. Sky brightened green as it went below eastern cloud and tree lines. Was bright enough that I was expecting to hear an air burst and news reports. Was turning from north to east when I first caught it in corner of my eye, then witnessed about two seconds of the fall to the brilliant flash. Did not appear to be an iridium flare, or the the typical shooting stars and minor fireballs I'm used to seeing. Streak appeared to follow planetary equatorial. |
