The fireball appeared to be a late Lyrid meteor. I caught sight of it as I was exiting an observatory building. It was not quite bright enough to light up the ground but was easily magnitude -9 or brighter. The fireball changed color from white to green as it entered the eastern treeline at the ASH Naylor Observatory.
