Remarks | Our home sits on 70 acres on the top of one of a high ridge (@2000ft) and we have a relatively unobstructed view of the sky. It is perfect viewing for amateur astronomy and meteor showers. This fireball was much brighter than the meteors (and one other) fireball we saw in the past. My husband and I were sitting on our back porch when it flashed overhead and fell off to the west. It was bold, and quite beautiful. |
