Remarks | I was looking thru a south facing window when i saw the alleged fireball, so the vertical angle (above the horizon) when I first saw it was not necessarily when it was first visible, but was when it appeared in my field of view thru the window. Because it was dark outside, and I could not actually see the horizon, I am guessing that it disappeared from my field of view as it passed below the horizon. That assumption fits with my experience of living here for several years and having a sense of where the horizon is even after dark. |
