I am a bit confused about the degrees (length if train). However, it took up a almost half the sky at one point (directly above me). It had small fragments too. And was very bold. This is what helped me determine I was seeing a meteor or asteroid.

Originally on the southern horizon I saw one bright fragment, but as it passed over me, there were multiple fragments to be seen.
