Remarks | I was on an airplane flying from Atlanta to Tallahassee when I saw the fireball out the window. It appeared as though a flare or firework at about the same altitude of the plane, and it appeared to be very close. From my perspective it burnt out at just below the elevation of the plane. We were flying south and I saw it out the left side of the plane, at an angle of about 45 degrees between the wing and cockpit. |
