Reports Report 3639bz (Event 3639-2014)

Observer
Name Michael A
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks once in a lifetime experience! Far larger than anything I have ever seen, "shooting star is usually a pin head" this was a relative golf ball in size by comparison and so bright! Green / blue. There was an orange trail behind it for a while suggesting to me that it was entering earth's atmosphere and the heat and oxygen were combining to create a fire colored tail. Wondered if it was space debris re-entering because of this but thought not because of the blue green color of the mass as it streaked across the sky. It appeared from my view to go down in the ocean (we live 0.5 miles from the pacific ocean shore).
