Remarks | streaked for about 4-5 seconds before coming to an abrupt end with downward fragmentation similar to a firework ending. At first, due to its size and relative slow speed, we thought it was a local firework streaking across the sky in front of us and breaking apart without an explosion. It was a definite fireball and not a pinpoint streak (shooting star). we were in our car so no sound was perceived. |
