Remarks | I was driving my car when I saw the fireball up and to the left through the windshield. I shouted when I saw it and my wife looked up in time only to see a flash in the sky but not the object itself. Being in a closed vehicle I heard nothing. I was surprised by the large size. I have never seen a fireball until tonight. The sky was perfectly clear and extremely dark on the rural highway I was traveling. The location I provided is approximate as I was enroute from Orlando, FL to Auburn, AL which is about a 7 hour drive. |
