Experience Level 1/5
Remarks We were driving back to Austin from New Braunfels and saw what appeared to be a very bright green fireball shooting straight down from the sky just off to the Northwest. My husband and I commented at the same time bc it was very bright and so unusual. It was definitely green and white color with a streaking "tail" (not sure if that is what it's called). It lasted about 4 seconds or so and disappeared just over the horizon. I've seen shooting stars before but this was different. Very cool. I'm curious to know if anyone else saw it.
